Issues

Job Creation

Too many Missourians are out of work, and the Nixon administration has failed to address the important issue of encouraging job creation. Caleb will stand up for the market-based strategies that will help give Missouri a competitive advantage over neighboring states, helping to attract and retain the quality jobs that our working families need.

Tax and Spending Reform

Too often, it seems like the politicians in Jefferson City have forgotten that the money in the state’s budget is taxpayer money. The state does not generate revenue – the hard-working people of Missouri do. Caleb will work to pass laws that will let you keep more of your money and he will fight to make sure that the money the state uses is spent responsibly.

Improving Missouri’s Education System

Caleb is committed to ensuring that funding our education system is the top funding priority, as required by the Missouri Constitution. Access to a quality education system prepares future generations for a competitive world, ensuring they have the tools to succeed. As part of Caleb’s commitment to education, he will work to reverse Governor Nixon’s cuts to our flagship universities and ensure adequate funding for the colleges which prepare Missouri’s young people for the future.

Protecting Missouri Values

Caleb is 100% pro-life, and he is committed to fighting for legislation that recognizes that every child has a right to live, whether they have been born yet or not. He also has a record of defending our Second Amendment rights. A hunter and gun owner, he knows that it is important that this constitutional right be protected.

Government Accountability

Scandals and corruption have eroded Missourians’ faith in their government. The problem is a lack of accountability – all too often, politicians are allowed to work behind closed doors and pass the buck if something goes wrong. Caleb will work to improve government and make it more accountable to the people of Missouri and introduce harder penalties for those convicted of corruption.
